About

This blog features vegetarian sauropods and other things that amuse me.

Expect to see posts about: dinosaurs, evolution, science, LGBTQ issues, geek stuff, politics, spirituality, faith, justice, food, Baltimore, and my family.

Writing here reflects my own interests only, and not the opinions of organizations or employers with whom I am affiliated.

Play break in our road trip.

I don’t know if you can tell that I’m behind Mokey. I got stuck in the lighthouse. Twice. I went in to help Mokey navigate the line and the steps up to the slide, then was caught in the press of preschoolers in the lighthouse bottleneck. The first time, I waited until there was a half second break in the rush of the crowd and backed out. The second time, I just slid down.
Life isn’t easy from a toddler’s eye view.
