About

This blog features vegetarian sauropods and other things that amuse me.

Expect to see posts about: dinosaurs, evolution, science, LGBTQ issues, geek stuff, politics, spirituality, faith, justice, food, Baltimore, and my family.

Writing here reflects my own interests only, and not the opinions of organizations or employers with whom I am affiliated.

1 January 12

Please note the relaxed feet in our own house featured in the previous post. We got home a little after ten and put the Beans to bed. Ackb got straight to work starting laundry, Ondiru moved heavy things in from the car, and I figured out a celebratory quick meal: fettuccine Alfredo (from a jar) with (canned) wild Alaska salmon. Ondiru turned frozen vegetables into garlic butter broccoli. By midnight, we were lounging happily in the family room with real (not airport) food, reflecting on the year. This seems like an auspicious beginning to 2012.
